In honor of their upcoming wedding, I am putting one of my favorite engagement sessions up on the blog. These two stole my heart from the first time we met. Their gentle energy is so easy to feel, and the love they have for one another makes you feel like anything is possible.
These New Yorkers are getting married in Brooklyn, but we went up to Rockaway Beach for their engagement session because they love to surf. Even having grown up in New York, I have never been to Rockaway before, but I will definitely be going back! The beach town is so cute, so we started the session by getting some coffee and chatting a bit about their wedding plans. Then we headed over to the local surf shop to check out some boards and chat with the shop owners(they are all good friends)! Then we went to the beach and tried out best to pretend it wasn’t freezing outside. As hard as he tried, Carmine couldn’t convince Su to put on her wetsuit and surf in the freezing water. Maybe we can try and squeeze in a surf after their July wedding!
I can’t wait to blog their wedding at Frank’s Wine Bar in Brooklyn, but you’ll just have to let these photos hold you over until then.
