There are some people that you just hit it off with right away. Bailey and Shawn are great examples of those people, and it’s not just because Bailey is the name of my family dog, and Shawn(although spelt differently) is my brother’s name. We talked about our dogs, I got to hear about their sweet engagement in NYC, and you can see the sweet love they have for one another in everything they do.

Let’s get to why you’re here, the pictures. Bailey and I were going back and forth trying to figure out where to have their engagement session, and one of the places I mentioned was the Navy Yard. I had been a few years prior and I knew it was a cool spot, but I had forgotten just how cool it is. There is just so much variety there with the boats, the industrial look of the warehouses, and then whatever cool installation URBN has going on at the time. But the topper on all of this radness is that Bailey’s dad is in the Navy.

Cool variety + personal meaning = the best location ever!  

Needless to say, we had a great time, and these came out to be some of my favorite photos. The topper on all of this is that I get to hang out with these two at their wedding at another very cool Philly spot, The Maas Building!
