Let’s pretend that it’s not currently 20 degrees in Philly and transport ourselves to a beautiful fall day where you could walk around without a jacket without worrying about frostbite. This family was so much fun to work I love working with kiddos in this age range! They still think I’m funny, they’ll play the games I ask them with minimal eye rolling, and the tantrums are kept to a minimum. If you can’t already tell, we had a lot of fun at Fitler Square Park.
After working in the nonprofit world for a few years, I definitely got brainwashed with needing to find ways to give back in my work and life. Maybe brainwashed is the wrong word since this is a good thing, but you get what I’m saying. I have had the opportunity to work at so many places across Philadelphia doing really great work, and Wissahickon Charter School is definitely one of them. I donated a family session to them for their annual auction, and this sweet family was the lucky winner! I’m always looking for ways to give back in my business, so if you know of a worthy cause that would like a photo session donation, let me know!
