I live for people who have adventurous spirits. I would like to think that I have one myself, but I really like plans, lists, and overthinking things, so I would not exactly categorize myself as an adventurous person. But I would say that this little family definitely falls into that category.

Allie just finished a 6 month stint in Africa working as a doctor (while she was pregnant!!!), and Jeff was working on developing homes there. They moved to Delaware for work, but there was a lapse in when they could move into their new home, so they were living in an Airbnb. Allie went into labor earlier than expected, and then days after giving birth they moved into their new home. And then they were apologizing for their house being a mess. If anyone has an excuse for things being messy, I would say these two get a pass.  

Despite all of the craziness and chaos in their lives, they are just the sweetest, kindest people, and I almost took their adorable dog home with me.  

We got to take some lifestyle photos in their new home and pretend like there weren’t boxes everywhere and then we went over to the Brandywine Zoo (which is a really cool spot if you’ve never been) and took some  more family photos in the beautiful gardens surrounding the zoo.

Maybe one day I’ll have a bit more of an adventurous spirit, but for now I’ll just have to live vicariously through this sweet, little family until I muster up the courage to have my own adventures.
