Whether you’re a foodie or just want to keep your wedding day simple with built-in decor and catering, a restaurant wedding can be an amazing option for your celebration. Philly has an incredible array of restaurant wedding venues. These are some of my favorites!
When you walk into Osteria, you feel like you have a private greenhouse in the middle of the city. Ceremonies and receptions typically take place on the glass-walled patio. Plants hang from the ceiling among twinkling market lights. Osteria is great for anyone who loves seasonal Italian fare and an intimate atmosphere.
Giuseppe & Sons is one of the best restaurant wedding venues in Philly for large weddings. This is another Italian restaurant. (You’ve probably noticed that there are quite a few of those in Philly.) It features a more straightforward menu developed with the Termini family. The whole place has an old-school aesthetic that makes it fun for private events.
Cicala is located in a historic landmark on North Broad Street. It was built in the 1890s and was very recently restored. The dining room features exposed brick walls, arched windows and elaborate chandeliers. Cicala gives you the chance to treat your guests to a really elevated experience.
Talula’s Garden is one of my favorite restaurant wedding venues in Philadelphia. It’s colorful and modern. Picture new American cuisine and bubbly conversations in a relaxed dining space.

Unlike most of these venues, Royal Boucherie is located in Old City. The restaurant got the aesthetic and cuisine perfect for the neighborhood. It’s an approachable version of nineteenth-century France. Gilded mirrors, deep blue curtains, and dark woodwork decorate the private dining room. Royal Boucherie also has a covered patio similar to Osteria’s.
I share more from this Royal Boucherie wedding in this blog post.
Manayunk Brewing Company is a good option for people considering more relaxed restaurant wedding venues. The restaurant is located on the Schuylkill River in Manayunk. This neighborhood is underrated! Manayunk Brewing Company has easy access to beautiful river views and a sleek, minimalist interior. It’s cozy, understated, and easy to transform to fit your vision.
And, yes, your reception will feature craft beer!
Lark is another one of my favorite restaurant wedding venues in Manayunk. This restaurant is airy with wide windows and a deck overlooking the river. Some people choose to hold their ceremony out there.
The interior of Lark is so much fun! When Lark opened in 2021, the restauranteurs created fun vignettes with amazing wallpaper, deep green benches, and towering mirrors. Portraits here are a blast.
I was lucky to photograph one of the first weddings at Lark! See more in this blog post.
If you want to get married at a restaurant with a really distinct aesthetic, Blondie has you covered. Multi-tiered chandeliers hang over a marble bar lined with gold chairs. Wallpaper and armchairs bring in pops of spring green.
Blondie is known for their incredible brunch, so definitely consider this venue if you’re thinking of a morning celebration. And don’t worry about missing out on their craft cocktails. You can still grab a cold brew martini with your waffles.
Valley Green Inn is one of the few restaurant wedding venues that doesn’t actually feel like it’s in the city. Located in Wissahickon Park, the restaurant sits beside the creek. Ceremonies take place on the bank beneath the trees. It’s surprisingly peaceful for a city venue.
The big porch and covered patio create an inviting space for an outdoor wedding celebration. You’ll love the laidback, nature-centered feeling of this venue.

Irwin’s is one of Philly’s newer wedding venues. It’s located on top of the BOK Building. The building itself is a vocational school that’s been repurposed as artists’ studios, shops, and more. Elements of the original school are still present and give your photos a whimsical feel. Irwin’s itself has an incredible view of the skyline with an option for a rooftop ceremony and reception.
