Getting to grow with families is one of the greatest parts of my job. It’s hard to describe what it means to me when a family hires me year after year. I get to be this fun aunt that hangs out with you for like an hour once a year.  

I’ve taken photos for this lovely family three times over the years. The first time was when I was first starting out and did a family shoot with their new baby and some extended family. The second time was for a birthday party where they broke out red clown noses for everyone and those photos are still a few of my portfolio favorites. The most recent time we got to head over to Morris Arboretum on one of the first nice days of spring and make some magic. I’ve never been there before and I can’t wait to go back! The grounds are so beautiful and there are so many cool spots to check out.  

With an active two year old, a full session can be a bit much, which is why they created their own mini-shoot day with a friend. I don’t typically do mini sessions outside of my annual full-day mini session marathon, but if you can get at least one other friend to do a session with you on the same day and location, then I am happy to do these shorter sessions for you!
