In home sessions are my favorite for a number of reasons, but I would say the main reason is that I love looking in people’s homes. Not in a creepy way, I just love getting to see how people decorate their homes and especially in some of the older homes around Philly, the architecture is just so cool. Seriously, on my weekends off I like to go to open houses even though I am nowhere close to owning a home.  

Back to the matter at hand, this session is definitely another favorite of mine. I’ve known Kat and Phil for a few years now when we worked together at Yes! And… Collaborative Arts, and it has been so cool to see their family grow! We snuggled up together in their new home to take a combo of family shots as well as some engagement shots because these two cuties are getting married in September. I can’t wait to capture their spooky love at the Eastern State Penitentiary! It’s gonna be a good one y’all and you know it will make an appearance on the blog.
